 Guest Speaker:
Dr. Christopher Neck
aka: “The Rapping Professor”
 

Dr. Neck is an Associate Professor of Management at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Buisiness. In addition to being the nine time winner of the “Students’ Choice Teacher of the Year Award”, Dr. Neck was the recipient of the ”2007 Favorite Professor Award” issued by Business Week magazine. He has a Ph.D in Management from Arizona State University and a M.B.A. from Louisiana State University.

At the end of every school year, Dr. Neck serenades his students with a personalized version of the Sugar Hill Gang classic Rapper’s Delight and as the motivational speaker for the Virginia Tech mens basketball team, Dr. Neck has been referred to as their “secret weapon”.

An author of 5 leadership and management books, including Mastering Self-Leadership and Medicine for the Mind, Dr. Neck also has over eighty publications and has been cited in many national publications including the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post. Most recently, Dr. Neck joined forces with Virginia Tech head football coach Frank Beamer to form the Legendary Teams Professional Success Seminar Series.
