The Great Retweet #NCTCDemoDay Promotion

In order to help spread the word about Demo Day & Tech Expo, we’re offering an incentive to those of you in the Twitter-sphere! Every week for the 4 weeks leading up to the event on September 18^th, we’ll be giving away a few prizes.

Prizes include: 

• Two tickets to the Virginia Tech vs. Nebraska football game (which is the day after Demo Day).
• A FREE weekend stay with breakfast at The Hotel Roanoke
• A FREE booth at Demo Day & Tech Expo
• $100 cash

So, if you’re broke, laid off, or too cheap to actually buy tickets to the game, all you have to do is hit your followers with the hashtag #NCTCDemoDay at the end of each Tweet. Every Tweet you send out is another chance to win.

Every week we will pick one of the Tweets with the #NCTCDemoDay hashtag.

Some rules:

1. Tweets should be relevant to the NewVa region, technology, startups/entrepreneurism, or the event itself.
2. All previous Tweets with the #NCTCDemoDay hashtag qualify - even previous weeks’ Tweets. So, Tweet early and often.
3. Make sure your #NCTCDemoDay hashtag links to http://cli.gs/UHgZuA.
4. If you do something insane like create 20 accounts and spam Twitter with 1,000 Tweets a second, we’ll bounce you from the drawing (and they will turn off your account!).
5. We will announce the week’s winner every Friday on the @corybdonovan Twitter account. Winners will be announced on August 28, September 4, 11, 18.
