  • VT KnowlegeWorks Announces Global Student Business Concept Challenge: VT KnowledgeWorks announced the inaugural Global Student Business Concept Challenge, which provides student teams from all over the world the chance to compete for $30,000 in prize money. To date, the Global Challenge has confirmed student representation from England, Finland, France, Israel, Italy, Mexico, and Uruguay.
     
  • Popular Science Magazine profiles TORC Technologies: The company's autonomous vehicle technology will be used by the Marines in war games next month.
     
  • UXB Selected for Demilitarization Services: UXB International, Inc. has been awarded a contract with Westinghouse Anniston for the design, fabrication, installation and testing of a mobile, self-contained system called a Static Detonation Chamber (SDC). This equipment is capable of destroying some of the problematic munitions stored at Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama. UXB also recently provided explosives ordinance disposal recovery support for NASA's future Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle at the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
